Driving school In Thurrock, Essex. 16 years in the business with the highest pass rate and many happy 1st time passes. Offering lessons in a Mercedes A-Class 180D I am an independent A graded driving instructor from Thurrock. I've been an approved driving instructor since September 2009. I currently only give lessons for the Tilbury test centre area. Collection/drop off can be anywhere in the Thurrock area. The majority of my lessons are 1 and half hours, but Mock tests are mostly 2 hours. I supply all my pupils with personally written and designed handouts for revision between each lesson. These are designed by myself and catered to my teaching style. They are very extensive and unique. I predominantly teach the MSPSL learning strategy and use both pictorial and digital aids during lessons. Once pupils are accepted for lessons, they can expect a weekly time slot based upon their availability. The time slots I offer are: Monday-Friday 8:30-10am, 10:20-11:50, 12:10-1:40 and 2-3:30 I usually reserve the middle slots for beginner pupils, then as long as their availability allows, mov them to either the morning or later afternoon slots to prepare them for busier scenarios on the roads once they are more proficient in driving technique. Upon first lessons, each pupil will be driven to a safe area to learn the basics of moving off, steering, left and right junctions. Once these have achieved a particular standard, pupils will then experience a different area, which is busier where we will start to introduce mini and major roundabouts. After this, the pupil should have the necessary skills to drive around Thurrock and continue to learn and progress through the syllabus. We will carry out a minimum of 2 mock tests during the syllabus (average is 3), and as well as being safe on the roads, you will be prepared for the driving test and ready to pass first time, The photo's I have included are only from my most recent car and include honest pass rate and score for each test.
