Formula Jon Driving School was established in 2019 by Jon Kenny, a former police response driver and member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), with a clear vision: top-notch driver training at reasonable prices. After leaving the police in 2017, Jon qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor and quickly earned a reputation for motivating and connecting with students of all ages and abilities. Today the school's team of fully qualified instructors offers manual and automatic lessons across Sutton, Carshalton, Morden and the surrounding Surrey and South West London areas, with more than 40 years of combined teaching experience. Manual and automatic lessons cost the same per hour, total beginners get a free car controls lesson, and block booking discounts are available. Lessons are client-centred, with support from your first lesson to test day, plus refresher and motorway courses. Students also get free access to Theory Test Pro and the My Drive Time app to track their progress.
