Latif Driving Centre is a DVSA-approved driving school based in Kingston upon Thames, with over 20 years of experience and more than 1,000 people taught to drive. Lessons cover Kingston, Sutton, South West London and Twickenham, with pick up and drop off from home, college, university or work. Bashir Tahir is the school's senior instructor. Pupils describe him as calm, patient and well organised, with lessons structured around clear targets and the local test routes, which makes him a good choice for nervous learners. Tuition is one-to-one in fully licensed, insured, dual-controlled cars, in either manual or automatic. Lessons can be 1, 1.5 or 2 hours (two hours is recommended), charged per hour, with no extra charge for evening or weekend lessons. You can also learn in your own car. As well as lessons for complete beginners, courses include intensive courses of 5, 7 or 15 days, refresher lessons, motorway lessons, Pass Plus, mock tests, night driving, eco-driving and lessons for overseas licence holders getting used to UK roads. There are also specialist lessons for learners with learning difficulties, and the use of a car for your driving test.
