Learning to drive Drive with confidence Learner drivers often progress at different paces. It is recommended at least two-hour lessons per week to get the maximum benefit and to progress as quickly as possible. Your lessons will be entirely bespoke and will be based around your own pace, whether that be faster or slower. Whenever possible lessons should be regular one or two a week is ideal to ensure what you have previously learnt is fresh in your mind. Your instructor will take a friendly patient approach to teaching. All instructors are DVSA approved and have all the required documentation such as active Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) badge as well as valid disclosure and barring services, so you know you’re in safe hands.
